2005 Calendar of Events!!

Aug 25-28 Summit 2005 ST-Sauveur, Canada

Steve Woloz 514-486-1898

The Quebec Austin Healey Club will be host to their third Summit in 2005. After visiting the Eastern Townships in 1999 and the city of Quebec in 2002, we welcome you to the quaint little town of St. Sauveur, nestled in in the Laurentian hills, 40 miles North of Montreal on the Laurentian Autoroute ( HWY # 15, exit 60 ). You can browse to the town's official site: http://www.saint-sauveur.net/st-sau-an/index_html

We will all be lodging at the Manoir St. Sauveur, a 300 room complex which boasts an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a large banquet hall, state of the art facilities, and private Healey parking. It is also within walking distance of all the week-end activities. Room cost is approximately $110.00 US. Your vacation may be extended at the same room rate. You can view the facility at : www.manoir-saint-sauveur.com

If you feel nostalgic about the famous Chateau Montebello, site of the 1995 Conclave, you might wish to head in the direction of Papineauville...( 819-423-6341 ). As ever, a place where one enjoys the many facets of luxurious living in the tamed wild. Also a place where one decides to simply walk and admire all that beauty. And the real amateurs will consider swimming, golf, fishing or tennis. You can view the facility at : www.fairmont.com

We are looking forward to your visit and as usual, Joie De Vivre, will be our moto. Complete the application form now, and reserve your place at Smokin' Summit.

Sept. 2-5 Lime Rock Vintage Racers- Lime Rock, CT

Come one Come all!!!!!! How many of you have browsed your membership book lately and found members who live in your town or the next. Call them up and make a date for a day of fun at Lime Rock Park Labor Day Weekend. YOUR club has been onsite with a membership booth for more than 15 years. WHY? Because it's fun to meet new people who want to join our club or talk about their cars and help them to get their cars on the road. Our booth is located in the B Paddock. So stop by for a break, have something cold to drink and maybe even a snack if you come early.

HERE IS SOME GOOD NEWS. A discount on tickets should be offered to those who call in and reserve their tickets in advance. There will also be a special area for just Healeys to park, so when you come don't let them park you in the grass on the far side of the track. Our parking area is across the bridge and on the right. It will be marked Austin Healey Parking Only.

There is also a chance that we will do a few Parade Laps as we have in the past. The catch here is we won’t know which day or hour. Pretty much hit or miss. So if you’re onsite at any point during the weekend, check in at the booth for updates.

I hope to see some news faces and smiles. Any questions please call any time. 860-668-0715
